Thank you to everyone who provided comments during the public review period! We carefully considered your input and incorporated many changes to improve the City of Monrovia’s Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP).

These revisions have now been submitted to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) for draft review as the next step toward finalizing the plan. This state review ensures the updated HMP meets federal and state planning requirements and positions the City to advance resilience actions that reduce risk and strengthen community safety.
