McFarland is planned to be incorporated into the Kern County Multi-Jurisdictional Plan (previously approved by FEMA in 2021). In order to update the Kern County plan to incorporate McFarland as a Municipal Annex, Volume 1 of the Kern County plan has been updated to include stakeholder information for McFarland. Volume 2 has been updated to include links to McFarland data, and the McFarland annex has been created. The McFarland annex can be reviewed and commented on by using the button above while Kern County Volume 1, Volume 2, and the McFarland annex can be downloaded by clicking the links below:
