Tehama County Wildfire Windshield Tour

On May 25th, the Dynamic Planning + Science team worked with Tehama County, Cal Fire and the Tehama County Sheriff’s Department to take a windshield tour of areas vulnerable to wildfire.

We paid specific attention to the types of fuel present and the dangers that could affect the homes in these areas (such as brush piles near the home or a lack of defensible space).

It was great to see the mitigation actions that have already taken place, like the prescribed burns in the photos below.
