La Plata County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update 2025
The La Plata County MJHMP has been approved by the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) and submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for final review.
The Plan reflects coordination with participating jurisdictions, stakeholder engagement, and public input, and has been determined to meet requirements under 44 CFR Part 201. FEMA’s review is the final step toward formal approval.
